You’ve Got to See the Gorgeous Wedding Arbor at This Waterfront Ceremony

We simply cannot stop staring at Morgan Belmonte and Kevin Lamborn’s stunning wedding arbor. Built as a giant picture frame that surrounded them as they said “I do,” the ceremony centerpiece also doubled as a photo backdrop for family and guests throughout the night. Morgan and Kevin’s beautiful wedding was captured in the photos below by Astrid Photography.

Morgan and Kevin had met several times through mutual friends—both finding the other to be attractive and fun—over the course of a year before they finally arranged a first date. On December 26, despite the snow, Kevin picked up Morgan and drove her to a tavern in Centerville, Delaware, where they spent a magical night at the bar beneath the sparkling Christmas lights, chatting for hours.

They’d dated for four years when once again they were together on December 26, this time in their home with their dog, Little Guy. The room was lit with candles and the Christmas tree lights as Kevin got down on one knee and presented Morgan with her grandmother’s vintage ring: a three-carat peridot surrounded by diamonds.

For their gorgeous outdoor ceremony, Morgan and Kevin left the wedding arbor up to the team at Amaryllis—trusting them enough that the first time Morgan saw the floral-covered frame was as the ceremony began. “I could not stop staring at is as my father walked me down the aisle,” she says.

At the reception, guests relaxed on vintage-style linen sofas and chairs, while sipping wine from the reclaimed wood bar. “We chose to make our reception very relaxed with a heavy focus on fine wine and food,” says Morgan. “Passed appetizers of watermelon and feta with aged balsamic, bacon wrapped scallops with peach bourbon sauce, seared tuna display, crab cakes presented with fried  green tomatoes and corn relish, thinly sliced beef tenderloin with baguettes—the list goes on. Our guests raved and the wine was perfectly complimented.” After a night of dancing and enjoying good wine, the bride and groom departed, a honeymoon in St. Barths their next big adventure.
