The 45th annual Washingtonians of the Year luncheon, held at the Willard hotel on January 25, 2017, honored 11 local heroes who enrich life in our community and enhance opportunities for all who live here. More than 100 past winners – many still deeply involved in the efforts for which they were recognized – came to the event to salute the class of 2016.
