Hike Up to Stunning Overlooks on the Potomac Heritage Trail

These are not your average views of the Potomac River.

Trekkers on the narrow, often muddy Potomac Heritage Trail, along George Washington Memorial Parkway, are treated to secluded vistas high on bluffs facing the Potomac. We particularly like the section between Chain Bridge and Arlington’s Potomac Overlook Regional Park.
