Tax Holiday in Virginia
To gear up for back-to-school shopping, this weekend the entire state of Virginia slashes sales taxes on all clothing and shoe purchases priced at $100 or less and school supplies priced under $20. To sweeten the deal: Make your tax-free purchases at The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, and if you spend over $150, you’ll get a free triathlon sports bottle when you show your receipts at the mall’s Guests Services center. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. See the full list of tax-exempt items online
