The Textile Museum is hosting a family festival Saturday, featuring Central Asian music and food, hands-on arts activities, and a performance by the Silk Road Dance Company. The museum will serve tea and other refreshments. Noon to 4. Free.
Director Jem Cohen is presenting a program of his new short films at the National Gallery Saturday, including several works-in-progress. The screening starts at 2:30, and Cohen will be on hand to answer questions about his work. Free.
