Occupations: She's a PR specialist; he's a consultant on technology issues. Where they live: Georgetown. Number of wedding attendees: 175. How they met: At a party at the Capital Club. First date: Talked for hours over dinner at Bistrot Du Coin in Dupont Circle. Where they got engaged: At a vacation villa in St. Barth's. Favorite restaurant: Brasserie Beck, BLT Steak, and Bistrot Du Coin, all in DC. Wedding cocktail: Champagne. Wedding cake: Five-tier vanilla cake with lemon-curd filling and buttercream icing. Favorite wedding detail: Long banquet-style seating with tall sterling silver candelabra on the tables. Biggest surprise of the wedding: Hurricane Hanna hit DC hard, but the sun started to shine in time for the ceremony. First dance song: "A Kiss to Build a Dream On" by Louis Armstrong. Wedding flowers: Calla lilies, stargazer lilies. Four words that describe the wedding: Elegant, sophisticated, classic, unforgettable. Honeymoon spot: Greek Isles.
