Real Wedding: Misty and Aaron

After a proposal in Paris, this couple came home for an elegant wedding ceremony.

When Misty Williams, a public relations manager for an architectural design firm, first met Aaron Holbert, director of legal affairs at Discovery Communications, on the rooftop of Marvin restaurant, she instantly noticed his dimples. He, in turn, fell in love with her eyes. The two couldn’t deny the obvious chemistry, and a first date soon followed at Acadiana restaurant, marking the start of their relationship. When it came to the proposal, Aaron went for the home run and proposed during a surprise trip to Paris in the Tuileries Garden. Needless to say, the bride said “yes,” and a wedding followed a year later at DC’s St. Regis.
