Feed your sweet tooth at A Grand Event (5020 Nicholson Ct., Bethesda; 301-231-8368) with a cake tasting from Mrs. Oliver’s Cakes. Guests who reserve a rental from A Grand Event receive a 10-percent discount on their cake order. 10 to noon.

Photographers, caterers, and other local vendors will be at the Fairfax Bridal Show at Springfield Mall. The event, which runs from 11 to 5, also includes a fashion show and door prizes such as a $3,000 wedding package. Click here to register. Free.

At Crate & Barrel’s free Wedding Party event, couples can meet with registry and design specialists and enjoy food and drink. The event is from 9 to 11 at Annapolis and Montgomery malls, Towson Town Center, the Market Common in Arlington, Tysons Corner Center, and DC’s Spring Valley. Call the store to RSVP.

The Images Group is hosting its Wedding Expo and Fashion Show from 11 to 4 at the Sheraton Crystal City (1800 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Arlington). There’ll be vendors and a raffle, which includes a drawing for a free gown.

Couples interested in holding their big day at the Crystal City Marriott (1999 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Arlington) can check out what the hotel has to offer at its wedding showcase. The event includes a glimpse at the decorated ballroom, a hotel tour, meetings with event staff, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and prizes. The free showcase goes from 11 to 3. Click here to RSVP.
