Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14: Verragio and Diana trunk show at Mervis Diamond Importers

Still on the hunt for the right wedding bands or engagement rings? Mervis Diamond Importers (1900 Mervis Way, McLean; 1775 Rockville Pike, Rockville; 703-448-9000) is hosting a trunk show featuring the entire collections of two of the company’s two designers, Diana and Verragio. Browse through hundreds of styles in platinum and gold for both men and women. Discounts will be held all day, including the chance to win a discount of $500 off any platinum ring. Sunday, June 14: Wedding-invitations workshop at Paper Source

Sunday, June 14: Custom Cake Design open house
Indulge your sweet tooth and plan your wedding cake this weekend at the Custom Cake Design (8535 Ziggy La., Gaithersburg; 301-216-1100) open house. Sunday, June 14: Makeup training class from Makeup by Brooke
Perfect your wedding-day look with tips from this class hosted by Brooke Colton Williams of Makeup by Brooke. Learn how to apply bronzer, eye shadow, false lashes, and more. Ongoing: Rizik’s bridal sample sale

Current and discontinued gowns as well as select veils and accessories are reduced by 50 to 75 percent.
