Pop-In@Nordstrom x Warby Parker

Starting today, fans of the hip, reasonably-priced eyewear can head to the Nordstrom at Tysons Corner to shop the pop-up collection. For every pair of optical or sunglasses purchased, Warby Parker distributes a pair to a person in need. For the pop-up, Warby Parker is releasing four new, exclusive pairs of sunglasses, along with a selection of frames and “speciality items with a literary slant,” including notecards and books. Diner en Blanc Deals at Rent the Runway

Launch of Bellajenna Stationery Shop

Local wedding stationer Jennifer Lavallee announced that she is expanding her business to include everyday elegant stationery on her online store, Bellajenna. Lavallee, who worked in the New York fashion industry for 15 years, uses her experiences from the beauty and fashion realm to inform her sleek, minimalist designs. J. Cole for Bally at Tysons Galleria

In celebration of rapper J. Cole’s collaboration with the luxury Swiss shoe, bag and accessory brand, Bally, the Tysons Galleria location is hosting an event on Saturday, August 8, offering patrons the chance to shop the exclusive collection and have a chance to win tickets to J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive Tour Concert on August 9. A minimum purchase is required to win the tickets, but all are welcome to browse the line of high-end hiking boots and bags. Refinery29 Style Festival

Simon is teaming up with Refinery29 for a day of shopping and style events at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. The event is a nod to music festival fashion, and it will include musical performances, presentations of festival wear–from denim to fringe trends–by indie boutiques, and a “DIY Stage” where attendees can create their own band tour-inspired t-shirt to take home from the event. Back to School Tent Sale
