How Sydney Wears It: Spring’s Best Floral Dress
Three sweet outfit ideas to help you carry this style through the season.

Now that the cherry blossoms have officially bloomed and bare-leg sightings are on the rise, a spring dress is one of your best bets for chic, colorful daily wear. And the right design can serve as one of the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe. Inspired by Jackie O. vacationing off the Amalfi Coast, this pretty frock from By Smith is ripe for the job. Consider these pictures inspiration for getting the most wear out of your own spring dresses.

Dressed Up

A colorful dress pops against streamlined black additions like suede Mary Janes, a skinny belt, and a boyfriend blazer.

Nine West shoes, Nordstrom blazer (similar), J.Crew belt (similar), Windsor chain necklace.

Dressed Down

Paired with a full-length denim jacket and some low wedge heels, the dress is an easy option for a cool spring Saturday morning at Eastern Market.

Hatch jacket, Ruche wedges (similar).

For a Rainy Day

Who says florals are only for sunny weather? When it rains, pair your dress with similarly hued rainboots and splash your way through a puddle or two.

Hunter rainboots, Windsor belt.

The By Smith Confetti dress Sydney wears in this post is available for $300 at Wondermode.com

I can't help but notice the dress the model is wearing on the linked website is very short compared to the pictures above of Sydney in the same dress. Perhaps I am over analyzing but, I definitely will be looking for a (hopefully similar) longer dress.

I love all of these looks, especially the rainy day look. I just got green hunters as well and I can't stop wearing them!

PS - not sure why everyone is freaking out about the dress being $300. Sydney isn't saying buy this dress specifically. Floral dresses are very trendy right now (thus why it's being blogged about) and can be found in any clothing store. As the intro says: "Consider these pictures inspiration for getting the most wear out of your own spring dresses."
