Just a couple of weeks after the debut of major (and majorly successful) designer beauty collections from Marc Jacobs and Michael KorsTory Burch is poised to come out with her own. The beloved womenswear designer (and ex-wife of C. Wonder mastermind Chris Burch) is bringing her classy, feminine eye to our vanities with a full collection of cosmetics, bath items, candles, and fragrances, launching next month.

You won’t find bright hues or deep eyeliners in Tory’s line; the subtle shades and simple packaging are inspired by the natural beauty she found in her mother, she tells WWD: “Less is more . . . My mom, who’s in her late ’70s, when she doesn’t wear makeup or just a little bit [of it], looks so beautiful.” She also described a need for something every gal can appreciate—a streamlined morning routine—and has created two-in-one products like a rosy lip-and-cheek stain ($38) and a glowy bronzer-blush palette ($48). Other easy-to-manage picks, such as a retractable face brush, are also part of the collection. The makeup, packaged in the signature orange and gold palette, is said to be lightly laced with the grapefruit, cassis, and mandarin notes found in Burch’s namesake eau de parfum, launching at the same time. Also in the collection are a body cream ($80), lotion ($50), and shower gel ($50).

The items officially go on sale in Tory Burch boutiques and online September 26, but presale begins September 6. The body collection and fragrances will also be available at Bloomingdale’s.
