6 Deals You Won’t Want to Miss at Old Town Alexandria’s Awesome Sidewalk Sale

Don’t have time to peruse all the markdowns this Saturday? Here’s a rundown of our top stops.

The sales are steep on stylish, chic footwear this Saturday at Alexandria's Bishop Boutique. Photograph courtesy of Bishop Boutique.

There are few things we love more than spending a lazy Saturday strolling the streets of charming Old Town Alexandria. Brick-lined alleys, restaurants with outdoor seating (here’s a list of favorites from our dining team), the serene waterfront at the end of King Street . . . the list goes on. The only time we like it more is during the epic annual Sidewalk Sale event, in which some of the best boutiques in the Washington area open early and spill plenty of pretty (and heavily discounted) merch out onto the street. This year’s sale happens this Saturday(!)—so if you’ve only got a few hours to check out the sales, here are six you definitely won’t want to miss. A complete list of participating stores is available on the Old Town Boutique District’s website.
