Filmmaker Karim Chrobog and Refugees International are hosting a showing of War Child at Napoleon Bistro. The film tells the story of Sudanese child soldier turned hip-hop artist, Emmanuel Jal, who now works to bring peace and education to his home country. 6:30 to 9:30. Buy tickets ($25) here. “Spirit of the Festival,” part of the Washington DC International Wine & Food Festival, challenges five pairs of local chefs and mixologists to create delicious combinations of food and drink.
