Planning a Summer Wedding? Check Out This One for Inspo.

This waterfront August affair at Sequoia includes all the summery details.

This August restaurant wedding proves that summertime is one of the best seasons to get married in the District. Krissy and Max’s wedding day featured Potomac river views, custom marquee lights (and a sparkler-filled grand entrance), silk gold bridesmaid dresses and sleek groomsmen tuxedos, frozen drinks (including signature cocktails that honored their two pups), and swoon-worthy gold-accent decor and lush white florals.

The couple married at the popular waterfront restaurant Sequoia and went all out to create “a very light, open, and fun feel” throughout their day, they say. Krissy and Max splurged on a photo booth, late-night snacks, and extra specialty cocktails to ensure their guests had a memorable experience. They also served a summer-inspired menu, including passed canapés of shrimp cocktail, bacon-wrapped scallops, and watermelon and tomato skewers. A formal dinner followed by cake cutting and dancing concluded this summer soiree. Scroll down to see more!
