Occupations: She works in international development; he's an attorney.  Hometowns: She's from Bethesda and Freetown, Sierra Leone; he's from Christ Church, Barbados.  How they met: Through close friends.  First date: Dinner at Busara in Georgetown.  Where they got engaged: At an ocean-side restaurant in Barbados.  Wedding cocktail: Champagne.  Wedding cake: White chiffon with almond buttercream frosting.  Wedding flowers: Spray roses, lilies, gerberas daisies, and hydrangeas.  Favorite wedding detail: The bride had her veil and the groomsmen's ties made in Bangkok.  Biggest surprise of the wedding: Her uncle planted flowers in their wedding colors on his Potomac property, where the reception was held.  First dance song: "She's Royal" by Tarrus Riley.  Wedding theme: Simplicity.  Four words that describe the wedding: Radiant, loving, spiritual, and exuberant.  Honeymoon spot: Anitgua.  Where they currently live: Silver Spring.
