White Wedding, a film directed by Jann Turner, opens at Landmark E Street Cinema tonight. The South African movie follows the story of a young engaged man who must beat the clock to make it to his wedding on time. Showing at 7:40 and 9:50. Click here for tickets ($10) or purchase them at the door.

After years of fending for yourself, cooking for two can be a challenge. Resist the urge to order takeout and try the “Feast From the Sea” couples cooking course at CulinAerie. Starting your reception from scratch? Check out the Wedding Open House at Hotel Palomar in Arlington. You’ll find everything you need to plan your day, including florists, photographers, bakers, DJs, and professional planners. Tune into HBO this afternoon to watch Monica & David, a moving documentary that follows two adults with Down Syndrome as they experience their first year as husband and wife. The film, which won best documentary at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival, airs at 3:45 on HBO East.
