We’ve already gone over our fave Washington-area weddings photogs to follow, so today we’re addressing the folks who make all that decorative party magic happen. Classic couples, this one’s for you. The Pineapple team regularly graces the pages of Martha Stewart Weddings for their timeless, sophisticated celebrations.

2. Kruse + Vieira Events

Can’t get enough Style Me Pretty? You’ll love the fine art look of these images. If there’s any duo that makes us believe you can recreate the feel of the French countryside in Washington, it’s these gals.

3. Roberts & Co.

Quirky and colorful, rustic and relaxed, pretty and pastel . . . Roberts & Co. pulls off a wide range of wedding styles with a sophisticated, cohesive flair. No wedding looks the same, and we love ’em for it.

4. Lauryn Prattes

Feminine and fresh, Lauryn rocks the heck out of every wedding and styled shoot she touches. And Lauryn, if you ever decide to launch a separate feed dedicated solely to your outfits, we would not be mad about it 🙂

5. Taylor + Hov Events

When we’re looking for funky and fun approach to a party, Taylor + Hov is the first place we turn. Creative Director Sugar Taylor works wonders with geometric patterns and bright colors (which is precisely why we tapped her to design our 2015 Style Setters feature).

A recent rebrand for Events in the City hasn’t changed their signature whimsy! The Grit & Grace gals commit 110% percent to every event they take on, and the dedication shows in the creative details—many of which they highlight on their Instagram feed.

One of the most dapper men in Washington also puts on some of the most unforgettable weddings and corporate events. Past clients include Vanessa Redgrave, Patti Labelle, and Aretha Franklin, and he’s traveled all over the world to work for them, so you know he’s more than prepared to inspire with wow-worthy decor.

If your wedding style veers more towards the glamorous side, SOCO Events will have plenty of right-up-your-alley ideas. We’re always wowed by their ability to blend elegance with opulence.

Lynn Easton is the queen of Charlottesville weddings for more reason than one. She and husband Dean run Pippin Hill, dubbed one of the most romantic wedding venues in the country by Brides magazine, and her often tented, always gorgeous affairs are beyond anything we could ever dream up.
