Washington’s most fashionable citizens gathered at CityCenterDC on October 13, 2016 for Washingtonian’s annual Style Setters event. This celebration honors the area’s ten best-dressed men and women featured in our September issue. Along with the 2016 Style Setters and their guests, invitees included past award winners, fashion bloggers, members of the retail industry, and the media. Party-goers experienced the luxurious new Porsche Panamera and showed off their style in a Porsche-branded interactive photobooth. CityCenterDC restaurants and retailers participated in the event with stylish mannequins, handcrafted eyeglasses, perfumes and candles, and delectable light bites of both sweet and savory fare. While they shopped and sampled, guests sipped on Heineken and Heineken Light, specialty cocktails made with Mango Ciroc and Crown Royal Vanilla, and wine from Great Frogs Winery. John Farr Lighting transformed the Covington & Burling lobby with purple and green uplighting while Crimson & Clover decked bars and tables with modern white and green floral arrangements. After the event, guests enjoyed a reception at David Yurman’s CityCenter location featuring shopping, cupcakes and champagne.
