What she does: I oversee the creative side of a DC-based fashion company that specializes in button-down shirts that don’t gape at the bust. Since we’re a small company, this includes everything from PR and marketing to designing for our new collections.
Describe your work style: My professional style tends to be modern and streamlined with unexpected touches from mixing patterns, juxtaposing colors, or adding unusual jewelry. While I change my look every day, the Shirt has made me focus on a more polished style of dressing. I’m definitely influenced by the designs we develop for that strong woman who is fashion-forward and flawless.
Outfit One: Appointments With Editors
This is a great outfit for deskside appointments with editors, as it demonstrates a very modern way to wear the classic white shirt–the workhorse of a woman’s wardrobe. To make this look evening-appropriate, I simply add an extra pop of lip color, and voilà, I’m ready for the second part of my day.

Outfit Two: At a Trunk Show
Full of fresh spring colors, this outfit is ideal for our upcoming trunk shows as it’s a perfect reflection of our spring collection. I’m actually wearing this look to our Charleston pop-up shop this week.

Outfit Three: Everything and Anything
This leopard look is fantastic for, well, everything! The colors play brilliantly off of one another, and the neon orange patent shoes add a fun burst of energy to an otherwise very classic professional look.
