Favorite restaurant: Brasserie Beck, BLT Steak, and Bistrot Du Coin, all in DC. Wedding cocktail: Champagne. Wedding cake: Five-tier vanilla cake with lemon-curd filling and buttercream icing. Favorite wedding detail: Long banquet-style seating with tall sterling silver candelabra on the tables. Biggest surprise of the wedding: Hurricane Hanna hit DC hard, but the sun started to shine in time for the ceremony. First dance song: "A Kiss to Build a Dream On" by Louis Armstrong.
