So Britney Spears is heading down the aisle for the third time. Even though she just finished her Femme Fatale tour, she’s probably pretty busy being a mom of two, so we doubt she’ll have time to go wedding dress shopping in the near future. That’s where we come in. We enlisted Miriam Liggett, the owner of the new Soliloquy Bridal salon in Herndon, to select four wedding gowns she thinks would suit Brit. Vote for your favorite in our poll at the bottom of the post.
1. Elizabeth gown by Kevan Hall White Label
“This gown mixes innocence with fashion-forward design—perfect for Britney. It’s a dramatic and sensuous gown, with oyster tulle gauze draping, a one-shoulder neckline, and a billowy skirt. If she wore this dress, Britney would be the talk of Hollywood—as always!”
2. Bonnie Belle gown by Heidi Elnora
“Britney could reconnect with her Southern sensibility, and add a touch of a sexiness. This rustic-chic dress is the creation of Alabama-based Project Runway alum Heidi Elnora. It’s made of off-white raw silk with a sweetheart bodice and princess seams, and the skirt is decorated with handmade organza and silk flowers. It’s perfect for a small chapel wedding in the countryside.”
3. Style MKC 201217 by Maria Karin Couture
“I could definitely picture Britney in this spectacular, über-feminine creation. I suggest that she line the sheer bodice, even though she’s never shied away from wearing revealing ensembles. I love the masterful use of taffeta, tulle, and organza in this light and airy gown.”
4. Vana gown by Cocoe Voci
“Britney may want to be the first to wear a gown from the relaunch of designer Cocoe Voci’s collection. This gown features a fit-to-flare silhouette with a V-neck in Chantilly lace, silk satin organza, and bobbin net. It’s embellished with hand-done beadwork and crystal teardrop dangles for the requisite amount of sparkle.”
