Today through Friday, January 13

Carine’s Bridal Atelier is hosting a sample sale at its Georgetown salon, featuring gowns by Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Carolina Herrera, Monique Lhuillier, and Kenneth Pool. The sale is by appointment only; call 202-965-4696 to schedule yours.

Through Wednesday, January 25

Hitched in Georgetown is hosting an exclusive trunk show of Tara Latour’s couture bridal gowns. Hitched is the only shop in the DC metro area who will have this edgy line, so it’s definitely worth checking it out. Call 202-333-6162 to schedule an appointment.

Thursday, January 12

Hitched’s Sample Sale Soiree will take place from 5 to 8 PM. Gowns by Amsale, Judd Waddell, Ulla-Maija, and more will be marked down up to 60 percent. And—bonus—once you buy a gown, you’ll be able to take it home with you that night. Appointments aren’t required, but you can RSVP by e-mailing info@hitchedsalon.com. If you’re getting married on the Eastern Shore, check out the Eastern Shore Bridal Extravaganza at the Tidewater Inn in Easton from 1 to 5 PM. The Montgomery Parks Department hosts several wedding workshops throughout the year. At “Selecting Your Catering,” experts from Catering by Uptown will talk all things food at Rockwood Manor. Tuesday, January 17

Looking for a band or deejay for your wedding? Get thee to Entertainment Exchange’s new Showcase Theater in Silver Spring to watch two of the company’s bands, Jukeboxx and Nightsong, and one of its deejays, DJ Neekola, perform.
