Simone Carvalli’s couture bridal gowns, made with 100 percent silk and fine French lace, will be showcased this weekend at Harriet Kassman at Mazza Gallerie (5300 Wisconsin Ave., NW; 202-363-1870). Wedding cakes come in all shapes and sizes, so couples need as much guidance as possible when choosing the perfect one. Food is an important part of any wedding’s success, and luckily, couples can devote hours of their time tasting their way to success. Blue Ridge Bridal Showcase at Charles Town Races and Slots
For anyone in the mood for a miniature road trip, Blue Ridge Bridal Showcase is hosting a boutique bridal show this weekend at Charles Town Races and Slots (580 E. Fifth St., Charles Town, W. Va.; 800-795-7001). The expansive boutique show will feature exhibits from vendors specializing in everything from flowers and invitations to horse-drawn carriages and destination weddings.
