Where & When Bridal

This weekend, brides-to-be can cross off some to-do-list items with a sample sale (it includes a free veil!), caterer tastings, and advice from a self-proclaimed perfectionist.

Thursday, July 23: Carine’s Bridal Atelier Mid-Summer Sample Sale
Carine’s Bridal Atelier (1726 Wisconsin Ave., NW; 202-965-4696) will throw in a free veil with any purchase of its discounted fare from Angel Sanchez, Junko Yoshioka, Melissa Sweet, Platnium Collection, Reem Acra, Rosa Clara, and others. Free with reservation, e-mail info@carinesbridal.com to RSVP; 6 to 9 PM.

Sunday, July 26: New Age Caterers Private Bridal Tasting
If you lack both a wedding caterer and meal plans for Sunday, make an appointment for a sampling of New Age Caterers’ (1900 Campus Commons Dr., Reston; 706-476-1200) menu options. The catering company will host private tastings throughout the day. $20; e-mail tastings@newagecaterers.com to schedule a tasting.

Later in the week:
Tuesday, July 28: Tips on Tuesdays by Wish Special Events
Wedding planner extraordinaire Laura Auer (her business card says “perfectionist”) will coach brides-to-be on wedding-day timelines as part of a monthly event hosted at the Dandelion Patch (111 Church St., Vienna; 703-319-9099). Free; 7 to 8 PM.
