Sorry Brides, You Won’t Be Buying Your Wedding Dresses at J.Crew Anymore

The Percy gown, originally $650, is on sale for $499 at JCrew.com for J.Crew's bridal close out sale.

Sad news, DC brides: you won’t be able to run to the J.Crew in Georgetown anymore to try on wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses with your squad. The company has put the kibosh on their entire bridal collection, reports Business Insider.

A call to the Georgetown J.Crew store confirmed that all bridal and bridesmaid dresses have already been removed from the store (though you can find J.Crew’s new activewear line there). According to a J. Crew representative, the brand plans to replace it with a new line of special occasion and party dresses in the spring.

The news isn’t all bad, though: since the bridal gowns are being discontinued, all the wedding and bridesmaid dresses are currently on sale online, so if you’re getting married soon, you and your bridesmaids can get outfitted for a steal. Whether it’s an under-$100 bridesmaid dress or an under-$500 wedding dress, there’s room to save some serious cash—which could be spent on other fun wedding necessities, like dessert.
